RUTHERFORD, NJ – OCTOBER 26, 2010 – The Meadowlands Regional Chamber (MRC) honored Robert Unanue, president of Goya Foods, Michael Kempner, chief executive officer of MWW Group, and Antoinette Nigito of Nigito Realty at “Super Gala XXXVII,” which was one of the first major events of its kind to be held at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
Super Gala XXXVII marked the MRC’s 37th annual awards dinner, where business leaders are acknowledged for their vision and impact on the Meadowlands Regional economy as well as their community involvement.
“The Chamber has been busy in 2010 – advocating for redevelopment of the sports complex, statewide gaming policy, regional infrastructure and transportation development, job creation, educational initiative, travel and tourism, and economic development policy, and as everyone knows we contributed significantly to bringing the Super Bowl to our region,” commented Jim Kirkos, chief executive officer of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber. “The recent successes of our region are in no small part due to the efforts of our business community, especially Robert Unanue, Michael Kempner, and Antoinette Nigito, all of whom were rightfully honored this year. Job well done.”
The event was held Friday, October 22nd from 6PM to 11PM at the New Meadowlands Stadium, where guests enjoyed an upscale Black Tie event in a Big Game Party atmosphere.
With the combination of high profile honorees, the Super Gala theme, and the New Meadowlands Stadium, this year’s gala provided a memorable night for the entire Meadowlands business community.
