Located minutes from the George Washington Bridge where NJ RT 46, US Rt 80 and the NJ Turnpike all converge is Overpeck Park.
This 4th of July Weekend, this park was a bee hive of summer fun and relaxation. The park sports over 800 acres and provides respite for one of the busiest and most congested areas in NJ.
This park has something for everyone. 5 miles of running/walking and biking paths, Baseball fields, a dog park, Kayaking and canoeing, Soccer fields, lots of tennis courts kept in immaculate shape, picnic tables, an Equestrian Center, areas to fish, a grass amphitheater, playgrounds for the kids, lots of parking…. Wow, this place is amazing!
If that isn’t enough, this park is host to outdoor festivals and events. This weekend was the Leonia fair.
